[An Excursion in Pixels - Day 12]

Solid style. Love that the shading is consistent. Posing is a solidly placed but sort of lackluster. No intrigue to it. Background is a bit too cluttered detracting from the girls calm pose. It think it's just because the black border contrasts too much with the light sky. But perhaps shrinking the background so it just eclipses her head and shoulder would fix that.

This is solid. This style seems refined. You were able to depict textures nicely without breaking away from the style you chose. Posing is solid. Minimalistic background does not take away from the image. The font is readable and stylized to bring a looney feel to it. Cutting it off behind him gives both the character depth, while making the viewer feel uneasy reading it. This is rated a four however because the extra detail to the suit is a bit too cluttered.

I'm rating this a 2. It's not the most solid of art styles. But the girls colors are solid. Very good choice on them. They go nicely. Unfortunately you choice of where to shade left part malformed. Her breasts are flat in a way that makes them seem like pancakes. Since it seems the light if higher up it would make more sense to have more shadow wrapping around her breasts. The background is interesting. More interesting than the character in the center. I also think that you went with a rendered optical flare for her eye. This sort of drowns out her face and seems a bit unnatural. Good luck with your art friend.

You have an understanding of art fundementals. The content is funny. The form is neat, the background is a but meh. Everything suffers from being washed out. Shadows aren't quite blending properly. You didn't take much care it seems with this piece. Honestly the best part is the head of the hotdog and the eyes. They really our formed nicely.

[Tree Plantation]

I see a style in here. But it seems to be un refined. You got something cooking though. Bottom left panel the arm is too loose it just seems messed. Other notes are the text, it's a bit too stylized making it hard to see it all clearly. Not too hard just unnecessary.

Remember you need to reject the haters and the lovers to leave a healthy middle.

Man yeah I thought the text would be a bit hard to read. I have really messy hand writing so I gotta work on it. And thank you for your input on the style! Honestly I was sorta just experimenting with it so its not surprising to hear it seems a bit all over the place haha. I agree about the arm though so Ill work on that next time! This was sorta just some dumb thing I wanted to do quickly but I appreciate getting constructive critique like this, so thank you :D.

I reccommend you put this in Mature. The shading and Forms for the butt really add a nice thick feeling. The pose is cute. But the spine seems a bit broken. The overlapping of forms adds depth too. Her face is very expressive too. All in all a great pic. Cute and Sexy.

Very cute image. Nice water effect and texture. She seems weighted to the world properly. Holding the bar looks natural. Hair design is neat.

Very cute image. With great color and line weight. Gradients and blending at point make this pop.
